Crooked Teeth

Always the first consideration a Hungarian dentist must take when looking to correct crooked or misaligned teeth is Orthodontic treatment. Patients often decline to have orthodontic treatment due to the cost and lengthy treatment times. There are other solutions which can be considered if Orthodontic treatment is not the best option or if the patient declines. Your Hungarian dentist will advise.

Veneers

Dental veneers are sometimes used to achieve a straight and perfectly aligned smile if the teeth are not severely crooked. Your dentist will often recommend orthodontic treatment but it is common knowledge that Orthodontic treatment will take a lot longer.

Hungarian dentists do not like providing veneers as they may require frequent maintenance and a local dentist may serve you well.

Crowns

Dental crowns are often referred to as “caps” and are arguably the better solution for crooked teeth than veneers in some cases. The crown will fully encase the tooth and the dentist can shape the crowns to give a straight appearance.

Hungarian dentists are usually very good at preparing crowns for cosmetic purposes as well as bite correction.

Orthodontic Treatment

Orthodontic treatment is probably better known as braces but there is more to teeth straightening than this. There are various methods of teeth straightening available as well as retainers for both cosmetic and reconstructive purposes.

It is usually ill advised to travel to Hungary to see an orthodontist. The amount of money saved on your braces and retainers are lost when you need to regularly travel for adjustments. There are a handful of Hungarian orthodontists who travel to the United Kingdom and Ireland on a regular basis to see British and Irish patients every 3 to 4 weeks. If you live far away from a major city then you may be able to find a local British or Irish dentist to carry out the treatment that you require.
